Iberanime 2012 - Lisboa - Portugal

Between 17 and 18 March, Iberanime shows off its best on the little country called Portugal.

GAME FREAK just announced that the next upcoming Pokemon DS games will premiere in June in Japan, entitled Black Version 2 and White Version 2.

The English versions will follow closely.

Shogakukan's Cheese! manga just announced that Kanojo wa Uso o Ai Shisugiteru manga is getting a film adaptation.

The original manga story centers around a music creator, Aki Ogasawara, who composes for the popular band Crude Play and ears over 100 million yen, despite hes job, he conceals it and calls himself a NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training). While trying to see a life outside of music, he meets a high-school girl, Riko Koeda, however, Aki doesn't know that Riko is actually a huge fan of AKi's music, and so he isn't able to escape the world of music.

A new trailer for Space Battleship Yamato 2199 movie was released on the amazon site.

The Blu-ray and DVD will premiere in May 25.

DMM.com website began streaming the first episode of Gokujyo ~Gokurakuin Joshi Kōryō Monogatari~ anime series, free for a short limited time.

Namco Bandai began streaming a new promotional video for the upcoming PSP game adaptation Papa no Iu Koto o Kikinasai! (Listen to Me, Girls. I am your father!).

The game will be featured with 2 released, the Limited Edition will bundle 4 bath posters, a picture drama DVD, four clear boards and a life-size Hina "air-cushion".

The game will be released April 26, while the anime adaptation premiered past January 10.

The official One Piece site began streaming the 2nd promotional video for the PS3 game One Piece Kaizoku Musou game has been released.

The first One Piece game will ship in March 1 for 8.190 yen (around $105 USD), and the Collectors Edition Treasure Box for 12.390 (around $159 USD), the CE will feature an art booklet, 15 pin badges and the original OST. For those bigger fans and lovers, a Limited Edition Golden PS3 will be released with the One Piece game, the PS3 console will be golden with Luffy character stamped in white on top of it, the LE console will be priced 38.170 yen (around $489 USD).

Konami launched the official site for Fairy Tail: Zeref Kakusei, with the site opening, Konami also announced the release data of the game for march 22.

Sunrise aniem studio accounced that the production of the second season of Phi Brain: Kami no Puzzle has been given green-lit.

In the second season, the story continues to develop around Orpheus bangle and Phi Brain, as the puzzle battles heat up.

The second season will premiere on April 8.

The Official site for Puella Magi Madoka Magica Online browser game started streaming the first promotional video.

In the game the player can become a magical girl and make friends with 5 other magical girls (including other players) in order to form a 'dream team'. Together, they can save the world as they take on Walpurgis Night.

The Puella Magi game will be Free to Play (F2P) with Cash Item Shop.

Sunrise anime studios just announced that the anime movie project Code Geass Gaiden: Bōkoku no Akito will screen in 10 theaters in Japan this Summer.

In addiction a small social Code Geass social game is also being made for mobile phones by Mobage.

Akiyuki Shinbo, Director of Nisemonogatari anime just announced that the new TV anime series will be featured in 11 episodes long. He also added that it would be the best to include the characters high-temp, back-and-forth conversations and still maintain the balance of the story line to the end.

Bandai Entertainment cancels all new DVD and Blu-Ray anime releases on North America as of February 2012, new upcoming animes like GoSick, Turn A Gundam and My ordinary Life won't reach the NA retailers.

This decision, announced this Tuesday by the Japanese content SBU (Strategic Business Unit) of Namco Bandai informs that this decision was made due to the heavy decay of the anime business on North America in the past 5 years. Having the huge returns and loses, and more sales at reasonable prices over the intended price of the publishers has lead SBU come to this decision.

Namco Bandai still informs that previously released content will remain including all new releases for the month of January will remain being released on NA, and when stock depleted, the retailers can order more from the publishers, as of this decision comes only to new anime releases.

The company is looking into the sub license of these animes to be taken unto online redistribution as of internet broadcasters and publisher may now add English subtitles into the Blu-Ray discs for these to be imported world wide, Bandai thinks that evan tough they won't sell as many copies, they will still create enough revenue with little addition costs.

The manga releases also has short future as of many titles will be cut short, titles like Code Geass, Gurren Lagann and Kannagi won't be finished by Bandai, as of another publisher will take it's end is still unknown.

Crunchyroll is going to start streaming the anime adaptation of Recorder to Randoseru manga.

The original manga story centers around the brother and sister Atsushi and Atsumi Miyagawa. Atsushi looks like an adult, but he's actually still an elementary school boy, while hes sister Atsumi looks like a little girl but shes in high school.

The new anime adaptation will premiere on January 5.

Hulu streaming service began hosting both Lupin III: The Secret of Mamo and the Space Adventure Cobra - The Movie films this Tuesday.

Crunchyroll announced that they're going to start streaming Nisemonogatari anime series at the same tiem it airs in Japan.

The anime centers around the Fire Sisters - Tsukihi and Karen Araragi (who also appeared in Bakemonogatari).

The anime will premiere in January 7 in Japan, United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa and New Zealand.

 Kyoto Animation announces that Chuu Ni Byou Koi ga Shitai! light novels are getting an anime adaptation this year.

The original romantic light novel series center around two girls who suffer from 'chuuni-byou' delusions of grandeur who vye for the same boy.

The February issue of the Monthly Shõnen Ace magazine is announcing that Task Ohna will launch a  manga series in the next issue on January 26.

The story of the manga centers around a boy named Hōtarō who isn't assertive about joining the classic literature club. While in the club, he gets close to the truth about an incident between a female member's uncle, which happened 33 years ago. Hōtarō is joined by an inquisitive girl as he undercovers this mystery,
