Another game that i got (THANKS BOB), Aliens VS Predator, or AVP for short.
I dunno what to say, games aren’t like they used to be, while they might end being fun, they are heavelly nerfed and with stupid content…. seriouslly, this is the nex gen games? They seem more like the games from the previous milenia in terms of content/feactures. Yes, graphics are nice and all, but looks aren’t everything.
Well, at least i was already waiting for this, i was’t waiting for AVP3, but for AVP 1.5, so i’m not “that” upset.
The game is damn nerfed, from what it used to be, let’s start: it isn’t that dark, lack of weapons, lack of feactures, manual alien pounces and togable wall runs and headbites (well, headbits are there, but they are finishing moves wich are automatic, aka “press E” when we’re on their backs), the melee block is also a bit stupid, specially for marines, how can a weapon block the uber strengh from the predators or the powerfull claws from the aliens wich can rip just about anything? Speaking of melee, the melee from the aliens also feels really slow.
But regardless all this, the SP is damn fun, loving it, evan konwing it’s short, the survival, is also a refresh from the old days of AVP 1, and it’s harder, solo ends up being much easier, but with friends, for some reason i find it harder (more spawns and more irregular movements from the aliens!?), so it’s a good thing.
And the MP, it’s fun, evan noting with all the “bad” stuff in it, the MP is fun, i really like it, and it’s possibly what will keep everyone hooked in it.
Argh… so it’s a good or a bad game? I don’t know… the stuff added/removed freaking sucks, but yet, for some reason, the game is addicting… ohh god.. what world are we getting into?
