Lot’s of people are pissed becosue of the new ubisoft DRM system, wich consists in a permenent internet connection required in order to play both of ubisoft latest games, Assasins Creed 2 and Silent Hunter 5, and how this was hte only way to reduce/prevent piracy and how they were forced to do this, and *random whine here*
Well, truth to be told, the DRM system was cracked in less then 24h for both games, there goes their protection.
These cracks aren’t fully working yet, but that won’t stay like that for long.
While i hate piracy, i hate evan more my PC games being limited to stupid ideologies… why the hell does a SINGLE PLAYER game, liek AC2, needs a permenent internet connection in order to play? This stops lot’s of people from enjoying the game on a laptop, outside home for example, on the train/boat, public places, and evan those guys at home, not everyone can have a permanent internet conenction at home, and in some locations, the ISPs are really crappy.
Further more, why only PC gamers are punished? Consoles are pirated as much PC is, and if not more (wider range of games, wider range of piracy, right?), why doesn’t AC2 for consoles also feacture such DRM?
It’s sad ubisoft came this far, they were fine with the activation limit, but now they went too far… what’s next? Retinal and finger scan? Urine sample (just like a guy here said)? *sigh*
Let’s just hope for the better for future releases…

‘Halo’ again, finally, after been asked by some friends, i’ve decided to go on and start uploading the Work In Progress (WIP) from ‘Project Gynoid’, renders of what i’ve been doing since 11 January of this year.
So, i created a new page (WIPs) where all the images will be uploaded as i go.
Still far away from completing, and each model, texture, etc. might end being changed later, or evan scrapped, but at least everyone will be able to follow up as i go.
Hope you enjoy them as much i’m enjoying making them.

Yet another update, the texturing has been quite easy and it’s basically done, needs some final shader tweaks, and color correction, but it’s friday and i’m going to take the weekend off, got lot’s of gamming to catch up with 
Finally the weekend is here, the damn week has been a pain in the arse back at work, really need 2 days off -_-

Another game that i got (THANKS BOB), Aliens VS Predator, or AVP for short.
I dunno what to say, games aren’t like they used to be, while they might end being fun, they are heavelly nerfed and with stupid content…. seriouslly, this is the nex gen games? They seem more like the games from the previous milenia in terms of content/feactures. Yes, graphics are nice and all, but looks aren’t everything.
Well, at least i was already waiting for this, i was’t waiting for AVP3, but for AVP 1.5, so i’m not “that” upset.
The game is damn nerfed, from what it used to be, let’s start: it isn’t that dark, lack of weapons, lack of feactures, manual alien pounces and togable wall runs and headbites (well, headbits are there, but they are finishing moves wich are automatic, aka “press E” when we’re on their backs), the melee block is also a bit stupid, specially for marines, how can a weapon block the uber strengh from the predators or the powerfull claws from the aliens wich can rip just about anything? Speaking of melee, the melee from the aliens also feels really slow.
But regardless all this, the SP is damn fun, loving it, evan konwing it’s short, the survival, is also a refresh from the old days of AVP 1, and it’s harder, solo ends up being much easier, but with friends, for some reason i find it harder (more spawns and more irregular movements from the aliens!?), so it’s a good thing.
And the MP, it’s fun, evan noting with all the “bad” stuff in it, the MP is fun, i really like it, and it’s possibly what will keep everyone hooked in it.
Argh… so it’s a good or a bad game? I don’t know… the stuff added/removed freaking sucks, but yet, for some reason, the game is addicting… ohh god.. what world are we getting into?
